Object Alliance Corporation is an Atlanta, GA based company. As a growing business, we have always felt the need to adapt to market demands, and to do so swiftly and promptly. We started out as a systems integrator and quickly rose to become highly successful as an Atlanta technology consulting company. As we grew we needed to increase our hiring. We reached out to some of the big name Atlanta IT recruiters to assist us. It was then that we quickly became disillusioned with the state of the Atlanta staffing and recruiting industry.

Three things immediately became apparent:

1. Some of the IT recruiters in Atlanta would not even meet the candidates face-to-face. They simply collected resumes and would send them our way without conducting an in-person interview. We felt that this step in the recruiting process should have been handled by the recruiter, not us.

2. The technical screening process was sub-par. Most times, the recruiter did not understand technology and would use some canned questions (at best). Again, we felt that this caused us to spend too much time screening the candidates when it should have been the recruiting agency doing this.

3. The staffing companies did not understand the dynamics of software development and how to staff teams. They would just flood us with resumes in the hope that we would accept a candidate. A true recruiter or headhunter would understand our corporate culture and the dynamics of software teams, and recruit for us accordingly.

It was then that we improved our internal recruiting process to such a point where clients started asking us to help them recruit candidates. Over the years, this evolved into a core function of our business, and we have quickly risen to the top in a field of IT recruiters and staffing agencies that litter the Atlanta landscape.
